At least six people were killed and 11 others injured when a passenger coach collided with a truck in the Mastung area of Quetta on Monday.
According to police sources, a Quetta-bound passenger bus collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on the RCD highway. As a result, six passengers were killed on the spot, while 11 sustained severe injuries.
Soon after the accident, rescuers and police reached the spot and shift the bodies and the injured to Ghous Buksh Memorial Hospital Mastung. Hospital sources informed two injured were in critical condition. The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained.
On February 15, at least 13 people including women and children were killed, while more than 30 others injured when a bus carrying wedding guests overturned in Jhal Magsi district.
According to rescue sources, the bus was on its way to Shikarpur from Khuzdar. The bus skid off the road and overturned when it reached the Bareecha area, killing 16 people.
the injured had been brought to Civil Hospital Jhal Magsi for medical treatment.
