The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) spokesperson informed on Sunday that the party will formally announce Imran Khan as Prime Minister (PM) nominee tomorrow.
According to the party spokesperson, “A parliamentary meeting of the party is expected to held tomorrow at a private hotel in Islamabad.”
All the elected MNA of the party are directed to be present at the meeting, he further stated.
During the meeting the party chairman will formally announce himself as the party’s nominee for PM, Chaudhry added.
The spokesperson then claimed that after the inclusion of independent candidates, the party’s toll for National Assembly (NA) seats has reached 125.
He further said that inclusion of the allies and reserved seats will make PTI’s 174 seats in NA.
After the support of Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M), the party will have 177 seats, Fawad added.

Initially, after unofficial results of General Elections, PTI was in lead with 116 NA seats.
On Thursday, however, the political parties aligned against PTI announced that they are fielding their own candidate for Prime Minister (PM) in Parliament.
The parties, including the PML-N, PPP, MMA, and ANP, decided to field their own consensus candidates for the Prime Minister, speaker and deputy speaker slots in the National Assembly.
